Summary:Generates a clinically acceptable treatment plan, utilizing clinical knowledge including, but not limited to, anatomy and physiology; radiation biology and oncology; radiation safety and protection; mathematics; and radiation therapy techniques, physics, and technology. Communicates with the radiation oncologist during the treatment planning process and communicates the plan to the medical physicist and the radiation therapy technologist for implementation.
Salary range for this position is $114,976 - $140,815 annually which includes a comprehensive benefits package.
Qualifications:Required Education and Experience: Current certification as a Medical Dosimetrist by the Medical Dosimetry Certification Board (MDCB).
NOTE: Required degrees must have been granted by an accredited school, college or university or one recognized by Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center as following acceptable educational practices.
