Mechanical Designer – Join Our Client's Team in Innovating Production Equipment!
About the Role: On behalf of our client, we are seeking a skilled Mechanical Designer to enhance their team in the development, design, and manufacturing of new production equipment.
Key Responsibilities: This role involves designing production equipment primarily for assembly fixtures to support the client's assembly workshops in Oskarshamn.
There may also be opportunities to work on designs for other departments, including logistics, press, body, and paint.
The Ideal Candidate: Our client is looking for an experienced Mechanical Designer with expertise in designing body shop equipment and adapting parts for cab bodies.
You should be comfortable with Catia V5 and, ideally, Enovia as the PLM system.
Team and Tools: You will join a team of approximately 10 tool designers, ranging in experience levels.
The primary tools for this role include Catia V5 for design and Enovia for PLM.
Skills and Experience Required: Extensive experience as a Mechanical Designer Proficiency in mechanical design of body shop equipment Familiarity with Catia V5 and ideally Enovia Fluent English communication skills, both spoken and written Are you ready to make an impact in production equipment design?

Start: January 2025 Duration: 1 year, with the possibility to extend Location: Kalmar County Remote work: In the startup period it's wanted with 50% attendance at the client site in Oskarshamn to get introduced in the assignment.
When the work can be performed more independently it's possible with less time in the office.
