The Strategy & Enablement Process teams are the liaisons between the business owners (end-users) and the development teams responsible for requirement gathering, functional design, integration, testing, deployment, training and support throughout stabilization, deployment and production. The scope of responsibilities also includes continuous improvement, transformation and training of end-users and subject matter experts within our finance organization. The S&E Process teams are currently organized by finance function.
The Finance Process Architecture (FPA) Business Reporting (BR) team is responsible for defining, delivering, and continuously improving a standard suite of reporting to meet the current and evolving needs of Accenture and ensuring alignment with Accenture's Operating and Economic Model.
It is also responsible for executing an accurate and timely Month End close process, deliver enhancements and perform testing of SAP Business Reporting module.
RESPONSIBILITIES: Work with Finance key stakeholders to create and/or enhance the standard reporting capability for Finance, which is responsible for developing and delivering a standard suite of reports that meet the evolving needs of Finance and its customers. Plan, coordinate and manage Application Releases and Integrated Release testing and support; ensure resolution of upstream/downstream impacts to sustain tightly integrated solution. Analyze and design enhancements and new business processes. Ensure data accuracy and business needs are met. Identify and define detailed product requirements and implement efficient reporting solutions. Review and provide feedback to user stories related to Finance enhancements and priorities. Act as Super User/End User support, reviewing and analyzing issues with Technology teams, Process teams and Business Data Architecture team to confirm ownership of resolution. Review and prioritize support items. Align or update security model, as appropriate, based on scope of changes. Manage security related issues and coordinate across myAccess and technology capability teams to ensure consistency and efficiency and occasionally perform periodic security cleanup. Closely collaborate with other Process teams and upstream applications to ensure coordination and data accuracy across solutions. Manage the Mid-Month and Month-End Close process, resolving issues and supporting communications. Also includes pre-close adjustments to Sales/Backlog and Rev/Costs and frequent restatements of historical results to align year over year comparisons with Operating Model. Act as a liaison to Application and Infrastructure Technology teams. SKILL AND QUALIFICATIONS:
1. At least 2 years experience in analytics/data science.
2. Analytics experience in finance span is preferred but also open to other industries as resource can be upskilled/trained once they onboard.
3. Supervisory experience not required.
4. Familiar with SAP business reporting.
5. Experience with data visualization tools, i.e., Tableau, PowerBI are required.
6. Open to undergraduates with experience.
2 or more years of internal Accenture Corporate Finance experience, preferably within Management Reporting. Firm understanding of Accenture reporting processes and the relationships between financial data. 1 or more years' experience working as liaison between technical teams and business teams. Flexibility to work nonstandard hours, before or after regular daily business hours and occasional weekends, as necessary. Experience working with teams located in Latin America, Asia and Europe. Microsoft Excel (expert level) and relational database experience required. SAP, Analytics for Office, Alteryx experience preferred. Power BI or Qlikview development experience a plus. Experience with applications such as SAP Business Reporting, Manage myBusiness or Manage myEngagements is a plus.
