Who are we looking for?Our client is seeking a Measurement Engineer to join the Technical Support Division. The Measurement Engineer's primary role is to provide technical services related to hydrocarbon measurement and loss control, and to act as a mentor for newly developed engineers in the measurement path.
Minimum RequirementsBachelor's degree in Engineering from a recognized and approved program; an advanced degree is preferred.PE or CEng certification.10 years of experience in the oil and gas industry.10 years in hydrocarbon liquid systems, including:Flow meters operation and typesFlow computers functionality and requirementsAuto samplingProversTanksMaster metersExperience in gas measurement, including:Flow metersFlow computersMetering supervisory computerSampling requirements (GC)Deep knowledge of statistical tools for measurement, particularly in estimating measurement uncertainty.Key ResponsibilitiesConduct measurement surveys and compliance reviews for the measurement systems.Report and analyze the hydrocarbon product loss control performance.Develop and maintain hydrocarbon measurement-related training programs for engineers, technicians, and operators.Maintain processes to measure operating department compliance to relevant company and standards.Conduct technical studies and technology evaluations.Develop and maintain operating facility policies and procedures related to hydrocarbon liquid measurement.Develop and deliver in-house training programs for engineers performing compliance reviews.Job BenefitsMonthly Base Salary – aligned with company employees with similar skills.Monthly Overbase – 25% of your monthly base salary.Benefits Supplement – 20% of your monthly base salary, increasing after years of service.Severance Package (2-year vest period) – benefits based on years of service.Employment Tax – if employee separates from their 'home country' for income tax purposes, most will not be required to pay 'home country' income taxes; check with tax advisor.Employee Share Purchase Plan (ESPP) – after 12 months of service, with maximum purchase equal to 10% monthly base pay.Incentive Plan – annual; based on performance, approx. 1.8x monthly base salary.Travel Allowance – annual; approx. $8,200 for each household member over 11 years old in Saudi Arabia.Vacation & Paid Holidays – 38 vacation days / 4 travel days / 11-13 paid holidays.Medical/Dental Plan – complimentary in-Kingdom medical and dental care for employees and eligible family members.Educational Assistance Plan (EAP) – covering expenses for out-of-Kingdom and in-Kingdom assistance.Settling in Allowance – one-time payment based on family or single status.
