How you'll play your part We're looking for someone highly motivated and passionate, who can lead our team with both operational and developmental responsibilities. This role is pivotal in managing the MB Cars Customer Services and Product Controlling Team, preparing objectives, conducting performance reviews, and planning professional development paths.
You will have demonstrated success in leading, coaching, and developing teams to reach their full potential while fostering a culture of continuous learning and growth. You'll oversee the team's workload, providing guidance, coaching, and direction to ensure balanced distribution of tasks. You will identify resource requirements and constraints, planning accordingly to meet the demands of the business.
You'll have a recognised Professional Accounting Qualification with substantial and relevant work experience in finance, ideally within a dynamic and fast-paced environment. Your expertise in management accounting will have been developed, preferably within a large, complex organisation.
You will have excellent Excel and analytical skills with the capacity to identify key financial drivers, solve complex problems, and make data-driven decisions that contribute to business success as you'll be managing the annual plan (MBBP) and monthly forecast (FC) submissions for Mercedes-Benz Cars Customer Services, ensuring accuracy and timeliness. As your role will involve providing comprehensive commentary on variances, you will have the ability to convey complex financial concepts clearly and confidently to colleagues across all levels, including non-financial stakeholders, ensuring alignment and understanding within the broader business context.
Your financial expertise will be essential in managing the financial reporting for Mercedes-Benz Cars Customer Services, ensuring accurate data submission and providing variance analysis to stakeholders. You will oversee the financial evaluation and approval of Parts and Services pricing and campaign proposals, as well as product pricing proposals for new models and updates, ensuring they meet company standards. Additionally, you will act as the key contact for audit requirements, reviewing findings and implementing solutions to address any issues.
