Description and RequirementsWe are looking for a Marketing Operations Specialist within the Latin America Marketing Operations Team.
The purpose of this role is to increase marketing efficiency and excellence by reinforcing budget governance with processes, partnerships, tracking, and leading weekly meetings with the country marketing teams. Budget governance is critical for helping the marketing organization optimize investment and limit financial risk.
Key Responsibilities & Performance Expectations: Responsible for communicating the guidelines and governance of the marketing process to the local marketing teams, involved in the entire process from planning to budgeting, approvals of plans, sourcing, execution, proof of executions, and reporting.ANAPLAN (Marketing cloud-based platform for planning & budgeting) operations including budget campaign loading and purchase requisition creation under compliance.Support marketing team with procurement process.Ariba Invoicing management:Checking Invoice and proof of work delivered by the vendor.Invoice approval responsibilities.Regular spend tracking and weekly follow-up meetings with country marketing team to ensure full utilization of the gross marketing budget (net + alliance budget).Maintain effective tracking system to provide early visibility of plan deviations and risk.Responsible for the tracking of alliance plans approvals before executions, ensuring marketing activities are executed with plans approved by corresponding budget owners on time and with purchase order issued.Knowledge of alliances funding guidelines.Responsible for tracking Alliance proof of executions.Reporting: Ability to analyze multiple reports to track budget, plans, invoices, and alliances POEs.Develop and maintain the country marketing team calendar reflecting key initiatives, deadlines & team meetings.Point of contact related to tools used by marketing, including user creation and/or issues related.Coordinate weekly calls with the teams to go through plans, POEs, and budget.Qualifications: 2-3 years' experience in operations, administration, or project management.Proficient in English, with strong data entry and written communication skills.Strong knowledge of MS Excel.Detail-oriented, which is essential for excelling in this role.Strong problem-solving skills.Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and effectively manage projects.
