Description The Role • Oversee global marketing planning for Global Affinity • Provide informed advice and guidance to key stakeholders on the most appropriate marketing programmes, as well as broader areas like digital marketing, event marketing, thought-leadership, and investment in third-party initiatives.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of marketing activities by analyzing outcomes using relevant marketing data and analytics; make recommendations.
• Maintain awareness of the competitive environment in the affinity insurance industry and understand how marketing strategy and plans are positioned to differentiate our product and service offerings.
• Develop good working relationships and foster collaboration with colleagues from across the marketing and communications function, including CoEs (Communications, PR, Digital, Events, and Research/Analytics), to coordinate effectively and support the delivery of marketing programmes and activities.
• Effectively manage direct reports to ensure high performance and skill development.
• Manage vendors, suppliers, and other external parties effectively.
• Stand in for the Head of Marketing when needed.
• Lead strategic marketing development with a hands-on approach.
• Project manage campaigns end-to-end.
• Implement strategies set by key stakeholders.
• Create assets that are informed and relevant.
• Prepare internal presentations, creating and implementing notes from key stakeholders while implementing best practices.
• Demonstrate attention to detail (content and formatting).
• Manage deadlines effectively.
Qualifications The Requirements • 6+ years of strong marketing experience within insurance/professional services.
• Proven experience in digital marketing and marketing communications across a broad spectrum of offline and online media.
• Experience working across multiple lines of business, geographies, and/or globally.
• Ability to forge good working relationships and credibility with senior business leaders.
• Self-motivated and organized, with the ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong project management, organizational, and communication skills (verbal and written).
• A completer-finisher mindset; the ability to drive and deliver projects in a timely manner regardless of obstacles or challenges.
• Flexibility and adaptability across a range of tasks.
• A good eye for detail and logical thinking through projects and issues.
• Ability to engage, communicate, and lead calls/meetings effectively with senior business leaders.
• Change adaptability and the ability to work through ambiguity.
