We're looking for someone with excellent writing and research skills to be our Marketing Manager. As a member of the creative team, you will be responsible for copywriter write and edit content for a variety of projects (including press releases, white-papers, marketing collateral for portfolio companies such as product description, etc. blogs, web, mobile, video, and social media), additionally responsible for presentation and design work and working closely with the marketing and design teams to brainstorm ideas, develop concepts, and articulate messaging. The most successful candidate will be a quick learner who has a versatile writing style.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Write original copy and edit content for a range of marketing and communications materials, for a variety of media including social, print, video, and online.Help design, create, deliver, and manage marketing campaigns, especially digital campaigns, and the content for those campaigns. Responsible for creating branding concepts and developing graphics and video elements of marketing campaigns for our various channels and products as well as ensuring design materials translate properly between digital and print.Select colors, fonts, images, and layouts.Meets with the CEO and Partner to understand the intended audience and the message the company wants to communicate. Edit and proof work to ensure high editorial standards are met across all content outputs.Present copy concepts and final deliverables to internal team and to client representative when requested.Collaborate with creative, product, marketing, and legal to generate company approved press releases. Drive brand consistency across all company communicationsStay current on trends and competitors within the editorial sphere.Performs other related duties as assigned.Performs additional related duties as assigned. About You: 7+ years of experience supporting corporate clients.Excellent command of the English languageMust have technical background with a focus on writing, with the ability to present complex data in clear, concise text.Must have ability to analyze and synthesize data to deliver on point messaging for intended audiences.History of developing creative written content.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Excellent writing and grammatical skills.Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.Ability to meet deadlines and to work independently.Ability to edit and proofread work of colleagues.Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
