RINA is currently recruiting for a Marine Argentina Operations Senior Surveyor to join its office in Buenos Aires, Argentina within the Marine Americas Region Division.
Mission
To conduct the assessment and inspection of ships and other marine structures during construction and in operation, ensuring compliance with Class requirements, statutory regulations, and any other applicable standards.
Job ResponsibilitiesAct as a professional specialist for the organization in applying related rules, regulations, requirements, concepts, principles, and processes.Prepare and maintain technically accurate and timely reports of inspections and assessments.Perform routine inspections on classed ships, platforms, or other marine structures at manufacturing sites to ensure compliance with classification and statutory requirements.Collaborate with colleagues on various projects and tasks.Work closely with senior professionals to gain practical experience in the field.Requirements Minimum 3 years experience in the engineering or inspection/survey fields with an IACS member Classification Society.Bachelor's degree in Naval Engineering, Ocean Engineering, or similar.Significant experience in marine vessel or structure inspection.Strong knowledge of classification rules, statutory regulations, and related technical requirements.Strong communication and problem-solving skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Proficiency in the English language commensurate with the scope of classification, statutory certification, related services and, before assignment, with their future work.
