Position Summary: The Manager for Capacity Management will be responsible for overseeing and optimizing the capacity of semiconductor suppliers to meet the company's production needs. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong analytical skills, a deep understanding of supply chain dynamics, and the ability to collaborate effectively with suppliers and internal teams.
Key Responsibilities: Develop and implement strategies to manage and optimize semiconductor supply capacity.Analyze capacity data and forecasts to ensure alignment with production schedules and demand plans.Collaborate with suppliers to understand their capacity constraints and develop plans to address potential bottlenecks.Monitor and report on supplier capacity performance, identifying risks and opportunities for improvement.Work closely with procurement, engineering, and manufacturing teams to anticipate and address capacity-related issues.Conduct regular capacity reviews with suppliers to ensure compliance with contractual agreements and production requirements.Support negotiations with suppliers by providing capacity-related insights and data.Develop and maintain capacity planning tools, dashboards, and reports.Stay informed about industry trends, technological advancements, and market conditions that could impact capacity.Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance capacity management processes and performance.Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field. A Master's degree or MBA is a plus. Minimum of 15 years of experience in capacity management, supply chain management, or procurement, preferably within the semiconductor or electronics industry.
