Responsibilities: Pursue opportunities to develop existing and new skills outside of your comfort zone. Experience: Experience in Agile development, experience with Team Foundation Server, including entering User Stories, Bugs, Enhancements, Burndown, and working with offshore resources. Strong test management skills and a thorough understanding of testing and analysis deliverables.
Skills and Qualifications: Significant experience in Data engineering or data product related testing. Proficient in Python, C#, Java, Selenium, Azure DevOps, VSTS, VS Code, JMeter, Blazemeter or similar tools. Must have leading and managing experience in all QA activities: data engineering, manual testing, test automation, performance testing. Experience in Agile or Scrum software development methodologies. Soft Skills: Strong knowledge of QA methodology and tools, with demonstrated QA experience in a QA manager or QA lead role. Strong experience in managing test projects and resources. Ability to work in a dynamic environment and come up with solutions to meet project needs. Practical coding experience with automated web testing tools, services, and physical devices or any programming languages (Python preferred). Excellent communication skills and experience working closely with development and business teams to understand business requirements and work on testing strategies, communicate impacts, own release sign offs. Previous client facing experience is an advantage. Participate in test strategy discussions, Automation estimations and plan executions. Provide technical guidance/support to onsite/offshore teams. Fix the issues/challenges within the onsite/offshore teams. Nice to have: Non-functional testing understanding for performance testing using JMeter/BlazeMeter.
