Job Description Keep accounting accuracy and compliance with policies and local GAAP for each country.
Execute and control internal finance procedures, according to Brambles policies and procedures. Integrity in the Financial Statements. Develop local financial statements monthly. Keep good track between statutory and reporting books. Balance sheet reconciliations in Blackline. Month and year-end closing. Provide all necessary controlling analysis including variance analysis. Coordinate External audits. Provide all necessary information requested by internal and external audits. Fixed asset accounting. Collaborate with FP&A to develop budget for the area. Collaborate with Shared Service Center obtaining/ providing / validating proper financial information. Cooperation/support with accounts payable/collections. Improve/standardize process in Controllership. Prepare reports and analysis for CFO and global team. Hyperinflation accounting and budget for Argentina. Develop lean processes for the region. Reporting to local authority. Local GAAP and IFRS knowledge. Secure correct accounting booking for Digital. Measures Non-higher risk audit reports. On-time and quality in the balance sheet reconciliations. Clean and on-time internal/external audits and Financial Statements. Accounting accuracy. Qualifications Bachelor's degree (accountant, business, finance). Leadership skills with the ability to effectively lead, motivate and provide direction to others. Able to take on new challenges and propose workable solutions. Lean process thinking / six sigma. Pro-active attitude towards the business and problem solving. Local GAAP, for Chile or Argentina, and IFRS knowledge. Experience As team lead 3 to 5 years at least. Minimum 5 years work experience in controllership. Skills and Knowledge Strong accounting knowledge. SAP experience highly preferred. Teamwork ability. Communication and cooperation skills. Ability to work with team remotely. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines. Understanding of internal controls. Preferred Education Certificate - Accounting
