Objective:

The Project AWP Manager (PAM) is responsible for driving development, implementation, and tracking the deployment of AWP for projects. This includes ensuring alignment between Project Controls, Engineering, Supply Chain, and Construction teams. The AWP Manager is a key position in the Project Management Team responsible for staffing the Workface Planning Lead with the Construction Manager's support.
The PAM will report jointly to the Project Manager on the project and the Regional AWP Director.

Responsibilities:

1. Understanding and implementing corporate AWP procedures and practices.
2. Developing and implementing AWP project plan.
3. Ensure all Work Packaging data is effectively managed and maintained in a central location using globally deployed AWP technologies.
4. Participate in all schedule development WIPP sessions.
5. Facilitate the development of the Construction Work Areas (CWA), Path of Construction (PoC), and Construction Work Packages (CWP).
6. Assist in the development of Engineering Work Packages (EWP) and ensuring the procurement work process tracks material and related material appropriately to corresponding CWPs.
7. Assist project controls in developing the AWP compliant Level 3 schedule.
8. Guide the Workface Planning Team in the development of Installation Work Packages (IWPs).
9. Development of Work Package Release Plans.
10. Ensuring Virtual Construction Model (VCM) is properly implemented, fostering alignment between Engineering, Supply Chain, Construction, and Commissioning teams.

Tracking and reporting on alignment between engineering activities and the Path of Construction.
12. Tracking and reporting alignment between procurement activities and the Path of Construction.
13. Facilitating visualization of material status tracking for each CWP in conjunction with Materials Management.
14. Providing expertise and mentorship to project team members.
15. Working with Subcontractors to ensure that WFP is implemented effectively.
16. Working with Supply Chain personnel to ensure that AWP requirements are effectively and clearly written into contracts with Vendors and Subcontractors.
17. Developing and implementing project training requirements and plans.
18. Reviewing reports and identifying performance improvement opportunities.
19. Providing reports to the Home Office AWP Manager, Project Management,
and Construction Management Teams.
20. Auditing performance and providing feedback.

Experience Required:

1. Field and home office project experience: at least 1 project in the field and 1 project in the home office.
2. Understanding of the engineering process and deliverables.
3. Understanding of the procurement process and deliverables.
4. Knowledge of the construction process and deliverables.
5. Proven ability to lead groups and manage personnel.
6. Strong MS Office and reporting skills.
7. Previous roles (at least one is required, but multiple are preferred):

- Experience working as a lead workface planner.
- Experience working as a lead field engineer.
- Experience working as a lead project engineer.

Degree in Engineering or Construction Management preferred.
