Job Description - Manager-Accounts Closing & Reporting (MER0003BIG) Experience: 10-12 Years
Responsibilities:Oversee accounts closing & reporting based on Global and Indian requirementsLead responsible for monthly closing of accounts; Prepare P&L account & Balance Sheet and report to HQ; Provide additional inputs and additional reconciliation data during closing of Global financial year. Present the Monthly results & related analysis to Management & CFOClose coordinate with the various members in Finance to receive inputs in a timely mannerReview final accounts on SWT/ SAP and migrate to MIF system for reporting to HQResolve queries raised by HQ on books of account, within specified timelinesReview financial statements, Tax Audit report & XBRL and RBI mandatory filing for Indian closingReview projected Balance Sheet, related eliminations & input in MIF during Operative & Expectation planning estimationsReview of assigned General Ledger Accounts to all functions, and resolve queries pertaining to transactions for various GL accounts and accounting principlesInvolve in all global and internal projects to align with accounting processes and methodsEnsure compliance to accounting norms and statutory requirements, including auditReview all compliance processes to relevant statutory requirements including application of IFRS and Ind ASReview compliance to the control guidelines and corporate audit observations from Closing related topics as prescribed by HQPlan and design required processes and data for various audits; co-ordinate with MB India tax department for Tax provisioning / Advance tax calculation etc.Preparation and finalization of statutory financials, reporting to Tax & RBI authoritiesPrepare and submit monthly reports to HQOther Accounting activitiesProvide professional support to other accounting team & cross functional members to continue accurate and timely flow of data to financialAssessment of ICS and IFC controls in respective systems and maintain trail documents for future review or audit processLead responsible for all type of projects to implemented in Finance areaInvolve in all projects which will be impacted in overall accounting landscape and additional reporting requirementsManagement of fixed assets for Mercedes-Benz IndiaCollaborate with the Controlling team for investment planning of fixed assets and various functions on their investment requirements and feasibility of the same.Ensure regular and project based accounting is completed for fixed assets.End to end control on Asset Creation & Asset disposal activityConduct Physical verification of assets as required.Qualifications:Qualification: B. Com + CA
