Logistics Specialist Are you passionate about building relationships and ensuring customer success? Do you like collaborating across teams to deliver success for customers? Join our Logistics team The Logistics team is responsible for processes and procedures related to Baker Hughes' shipping logistics and customs across borders. We manage transportation and related logistics of goods and services to and from internal and/or external customers/suppliers.

Partner with the best As a Logistics Specialist, you'll manage transportation and logistics of goods to and from our customers. Collaborating with internal teams (e.g. Inventory and Finance), you will facilitate efficient service delivery for customers. You will ensure your duties are carried out in compliance with Baker Hughes and Health & Safety practices.

As a Logistics Specialist, you will be responsible for:

Developing and leading end-to-end logistics solutions to achieve required on-time pick up & delivery of goods. Managing Logistics Costs to meet budgets and Op Plans. Generating reports with shipment status and cost, including duties and freight. Direct interaction with domestic carriers, freight forwarders, and customs agents/brokers to coordinate imports/exports for the south cone area: Argentina, Bolivia, Chile. Direct interaction and coordination of carriers, freight forwarders, and customs agents/brokers to execute imports, exports, and domestic transports. Attending to customs regulation and preparing, validating, and presenting mandatory documents, licenses, and certificates to import/export items. Supporting customs and other government inquiries and audits, providing documents and information. Elaborating proposals for improvement in approaches, methods, procedures, and processes in your field. Handling communication with direct colleagues and the business about design and coordination services rendered. Contributing to projects as a team member. Work goals typically take 1-3 months to complete, and results are seen immediately or within 1-2 months. Fuel your passion To be successful in this role you will:

Have a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience in international and local logistics. Be graduated in: International Relations, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or Foreign Trade. Be fluent in written and spoken English and have effective communication skills. Have the ability to work independently with high problem-solving skills. Demonstrate solid oral and written communication skills, robust interpersonal and leadership skills. Show a willingness to learn and be highly adaptable.
