Security Coordinating Tasks:For all security related topics is the single point of contact to Corporate Security (CS) represented by the respective Regional Security Office. Also, reports to the managing body on a regular basis.Responsible for the administration of GIoRIS as required working on and editing GIoRIS in English. Coordinated the Annual Review Process (ARP) within Country CEO and locations and for this purpose stays in touch with the local site management, units and personnel to coordinate the implementation of ARP risk mitigation measures and creates transparency of rated threats/risks and the mitigation actions as security measures.Security Operative Tasks:Responsible for Site Security and Physical Information Protection by ensuring all locations are covered by a risk-based security concept and is to be written and kept up to date.When planning new locations and facilities, Corporate Security must be involved (at the time the location is being chosen) regarding questions on the security concept and operation of location and facility security.For expansions or renovations to be existing locations and facilities, once the planning begins Security must be consulted. The Security protection requirements are described by security manager in a security concept that is based on a risk analysis.Responsible for risk-based fire protection management as appointed Fire Protection Office (FPO), Contact Person for all fire protection related matters at the location and should be consulted during the ARP for the fire related questions. Ensure that Security measures and fire protection measures must be implemented without interfering with each other.
Travel & Expat Security: Only need to be implemented by the Security for medium risk countries or higher. Implement "Minimum Security Requirements – Guidance process house by corporate security and document concepts. The minimum requirements matrix may not be sufficient to handle certain risks. In this case, the Security Manager can decide together with the Regional Security Office to implement other measures that are better suited to mitigate the identified risks.Event Security: By responsibility of creating the event security plan and the overall security of the event. Security manager needs to work closely with the Event Manager to ensure success of the event security plan. Event Security is part of B.82 (Event Security Handbook) it is any company related occurrences (initiated by organizations of his location), involving a group of people outside the norm of their daily work and which could potentially increase the risk to a Mercedes-Benz facility, personnel, or reputation.Responsible and designated to assist Crisis Management: By revising the Crisis Management questionnaire for the ARP security process and insert the necessary information for Crisis management and business continuity measures as appointed Crisis management Coordinator as designated to assist in the development of a crisis management organization. A crisis management plan approved by described management to formally describe the crisis management organization, its infrastructure, Safe Haven, its members & roles, and CM processes with an annual review and re-approval; engages Local CMT in training exercise; and to inform CS CoC/CM, ideally in coordination through the respective RSO of updates to measures. Develop & regulate the Local Hibernation, Relocation & Evacuations Plan for assignees and threats evaluation.Internal Investigation and Support Corporate Security during CS Investigations: Required to know policies C.169 & A.31 to understand the processes & regulations behind them to know the difference between minor and major risk cases. In case an allegation needs to be addressed, the Security Manager needs to be able to inform the correct contact point based on the policies, support Corporate Security during CS investigations. Ensure compliance to ERD, CS Process house policies related to internal investigations and the CS process of commissioning investigations to third party service providers for conducting investigations.Mercedes-Benz Incident Management Process and Reporting: Every major incident/ or any of management interest needs to be reported by the Security Manager through the IMP (ERD B79.1). Every incident which causes the activation of a crisis management team definitely needs to be reported to the SitCenter. Keep monitoring updates required for Risk triggers, communicate local updates on daily base locally and accordingly to local approved Channels ex: Threema. Criteria of reporting must be met with established Security measures and defined mitigation actions with country CEO. Security manager should complete sessions for the incident process implementation. In many instances, major incidents also constitute major risk cases, which need to be reported to the BPO immediately. This means, that such incidents need to be parallelly reported to the Situation Center as well as to the BPO.Required to keep the GIoRIS basic data of locations up to date (Responsibilities of locations, security task forces, people located,..) as an operative security task.Develop a security network with local authorities and neighbors.Observe Security situation and Plan Security Service Providers:- Responsible for Plan Local Security Providers Security operations for all locations security context of security and resilience measures for Standby or activated emergency planning, Responsible for security analyses and local security monitoring, operation control room, selection, screening and hiring security personnel as locations; security concept risk based.
Review legal contracts require security involvement in the scope of Corporate Security policies of not limited to Locations' Security, fire protection and crisis management.
Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration/Commerce or equivalent major from a reputable university6-8 years of Experience in any related field is requiredExperience in Strategic Pillars, Planning intervals and Audits.Experience in management reporting (escalation, de-escalation).Experience in International Security management systems and Change management.Soft Skills/Individual Competence: Self-motive and dynamicGood analytical skillsSkills in auditing and coaching othersSkills in Incident management reportingSkills in Checks and controls for compliance including the financial controls.Ability to deal with numbers and analysisAbility to collaborate and work in a team with Conflict Resolution skills.Problem-solving skillsMS Office applications background (PowerPoint)OrganizationMercedes-Benz Logistics and Distribution Egypt LLC
