Job Description - Loaner Car Coordinator (MER0003IAQ) Description The mission of the Mercedes-Benz Manhattan Loaner Car Coordinator is to coordinate with mobility Department staff, BDC Service Reps and Service Advisors to ensure MBM meets daily activities and scheduled commitments.
The Mercedes-Benz Manhattan Alternate Transportation Coordinator must provide a consistently outstanding brand and customer experience through consistently excellent preparation, attitude, and teamwork.
Ensure that paperwork and other administration tasks associated with providing these services are completed to standards of the Mobility Department.Maintain the loaner car records and files in a logical and organized manner.Maintain and monitor customer and fleet information in department's computer system.Ensure pick-up and delivery fleet and loaner cars are always clean, gassed and in proper mechanical working order.Maintain the security of the loaner car fleet, customer information and vehicle keys.Work with advisors and service management to ensure loaner cars are returned as quickly as possible.Provide reports of loaner cars out and provide management with report of off road loaners being repaired and total days down.Report to supervisors any situation or condition that jeopardizes the safety, welfare, and/or integrity of the dealership, its employees, or customers.Perform other various tasks as directed by service management.Collect monies from customers who incurred parking/traffic violation while in possession of loaner vehicle.Collect monies from customers for re-fuel charges and over the limit mileage or usage.Handle all customer service needs and inquiries and needs to MBM standards of performance and report any foreseen customer dissatisfaction to appropriate department or manager.Maintain personal grooming, hygiene, and dress commensurate with the position.Maintain a clean and safe work area.The pay range is $23-$25/hr. Qualifications High School Diploma (GED) or equivalent work experience.2+ years in coordinator position in high volume customer service-oriented environment.Be able to withstand physical demands of the job.Able to commute into and out of Manhattan/New York City on a daily basis.Able to work Saturdays and Holidays, if required.OrganizationMercedes-Benz Manhattan, Inc.
