Lead Psychologist – Paediatric Assessment ClinicAs the Lead Psychologist, you will take on a key leadership role in our paediatric assessment clinic, overseeing and conducting assessments for children with autism, ADHD, and cognitive challenges. You will collaborate closely with the executive management team to improve operational efficiency, enhance clinical procedures, and ensure the highest standards of care are maintained throughout the assessment process.
Your responsibilities will also include mentoring and training less experienced psychologists and clinical staff, helping them develop their skills and knowledge in paediatric assessments. You will be instrumental in developing and implementing clinical protocols and best practices to improve service delivery and ensure that families receive timely and accurate diagnoses.

Key Responsibilities: Lead Assessments: Conduct and supervise standardised psychological assessments for children, focusing on Autism, ADHD, and cognitive evaluations. This includes administering and interpreting tests, preparing reports with quality and conclusive reporting skills, and offering clear recommendations for families.Staff Supervision & Training: Mentor and support junior psychologists and clinical staff by providing guidance, supervision, and training in the administration of assessments, report writing, and clinical best practices.Service Delivery Improvement: Work closely with clinic management to review and improve assessment processes, ensuring efficient service delivery and maintaining high standards of care.Procedure Development: Collaborate with management to create, refine, and implement clinical procedures, protocols, and policies to ensure the consistency and accuracy of assessments, as well as the smooth functioning of the clinic.Quality Assurance: Oversee the implementation of best practices and ensure that all assessments are conducted with precision and meet established guidelines for accuracy and reliability.Collaboration with Management: Provide regular feedback and insights to the management team on ways to enhance clinic operations, optimize staff performance, and improve client outcomes.Research & Continued Education: Stay updated on the latest research and trends in paediatric psychology, autism, ADHD, and cognitive development to ensure that the clinic's assessments and practices reflect the most current evidence-based methods.Client & Family Interaction: Occasionally meet with families to explain assessment results, provide support, and discuss recommendations for follow-up services or interventions.Key Qualifications: Education: Minimum of Bachelor's degree in PsychologyTechnical Expertise: High proficiency in administering and interpreting standardised psychological assessments (e.g., ADOS, WISC, Conners, etc.) and a strong knowledge of autism, ADHD, and cognitive testing.
