Our client, a dynamic digital agency in the rapidly expanding iGaming industry, is seeking a talented and driven HR Generalist to join their growing team in Cyprus.
Scope of position The HR Generalist will support and implement a wide range of HR policies, ensuring that the company's HR operations run smoothly.
The role involves providing advice and assistance to employees on a variety of HR matters, coordinating employee relations, administering benefits, recruitment and ensuring compliance with labour laws.
The HR Generalist will work closely with management and employees to ensure a positive, productive work environment.
Responsibilities Coordinate the recruitment and onboarding process, including work permits where required; Coordinate work permit renewal processes; Coordinate payroll; Assist with the administration of staff benefits; Liaising with local authorities and service providers; Ensure compliance with local employment laws; Maintain up-to-date knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices to advise on policy development & necessary changes; Administer & enforce company policies and procedures; Act as first point of contact for employees regarding HR & general office related inquiries; Escalate any conflicts, employee concerns and grievances; Promote a positive workplace environment; Support senior managers with performance management and employee development; Maintaining up to date employee records in BambooHR; Keeping inventory of office supplies and ordering new materials as needed; Assisting senior management as and when required; Reserving meeting room for meetings; Organizing events when necessary; Ensuring office is clean and well maintained at all times; Key Relationships: Customer Service, VIP, Payments & Fraud, Marketing, Product, Finance as well as Local Authorities, Service Providers, Vendors Decision Making Authority Escalate issues to the Head of Human Resources Requirements Ideally minimum 1 year experience in a similar or administrative role Knowledge of labour laws, employee relations & HR best practices; Knowledge of BambooHR will be considered an asset; Excellent written & verbal skills in English; Strong communication and interpersonal skills; Clean & smart appearance; Be a self-motivated and highly organised individual; Possess a strong eye for detail and a can-do attitude; Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with integrity; Be conversant in the use of Microsoft Office applications; Loyal and hardworking; Experience working with remote colleagues and managers will be considered an asset Health insurance from the beginning Gym/fit allowance Team activities, summer and winter parties Flat hierarchy Hybrid work
