Remote position (only for professionals based in LATAM) Part-time position RYZ is looking for a Java Engineer, who will be at the forefront of developing high-quality software products. You'll play a crucial role in the entire development life cycle, from concept and design to testing. You'll collaborate with our talented team of engineers and developers to build robust, high-performance applications using Java technologies. Key Responsibilities - Design, implement, and maintain Java-based applications that can be high-volume and low-latency. - Contribute to all phases of the development lifecycle, ensuring the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of the applications. - Identify bottlenecks and bugs, and devise solutions to these problems. - Support continuous improvement by investigating and presenting alternatives and technologies for architectural review. - Work with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle. Qualifications and Skills - At least 4 years of professional experience. - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. - Proven hands-on Software Development experience. - Proven working experience in Java development. - Object-Oriented Analysis and design using common design patterns. - Excellent knowledge of Relational Databases, SQL, and ORM technologies (JPA2, Hibernate). - Experience with test-driven development. Must-Have Skills Spring Boot: Demonstrated experience with Spring Boot framework for creating microservices. Microservices: Solid understanding and practical experience in developing microservices architectures. AWS: Experience with AWS cloud services and managing scalable applications in the cloud. Docker: Proficiency in containerization with Docker, understanding of container management and orchestration.
