Overview: An IT Support job involves providing technical assistance and support to internal users or external clients who are experiencing computer and technology-related issues. The role is crucial in ensuring the smooth operation of an organization's IT systems. You will be responsible for providing technical support and troubleshooting assistance to end-users, ensuring the effective and efficient use of computer systems, software, and hardware.
Position available onsite in Barrio Vicente Lopez Responsibilities: Respond to user inquiries and provide technical assistance through various channels such as phone, email, and in-person. Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, network, and system issues. Log and track support tickets using a help desk ticketing system. Install, configure, and maintain computer hardware, peripherals, and software applications. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to desktops, laptops, printers, and mobile devices. Set up and manage user accounts, permissions, and passwords. Provide user training on basic system and software usage. Assist in the configuration and troubleshooting of network connectivity issues. Collaborate with network administrators to ensure smooth network operation. Implement and enforce security protocols, including antivirus and anti-malware measures. Educate users on security best practices and conduct periodic security audits. Create and maintain documentation for IT procedures, troubleshooting steps, and system configurations. Ensure that operating systems and software applications are updated with the latest patches and security updates. Work closely with other IT professionals, such as system administrators and network engineers, to address complex issues and projects. Perform other related duties as assigned. Qualifications: Bilingual English/Spanish A degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field is preferred. Proven experience as an IT Support Specialist or in a similar role. Strong knowledge of computer hardware, operating systems, and commonly used software applications. Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Strong communication and customer service skills. Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified Desktop Support Technician) are a plus. Full time position plus benefits.
