Description We are seeking a respected and enthusiastic professional to fill the role of an IT Release & Test Analyst – Retail of the Future for the AAP markets (Africa, Asia-Pacific) located in Malaysia.
Job Responsibilities: Responsible for scheduling, planning, and controlling the software's development and delivery/release process.Communicate project-related tasks such as plans, timelines, requirements, etc. between different teams.Identify risks that can delay the release and manage them, ensuring that the scheduled scope and quality of the release are not affected. Track progress and find issues, always working to improve the release process.Create plans for implementation and deployment as per the release schedule and lead the Go-Live activities to deploy the software successfully.Define the scope of testing within the context of each release delivery.Document different test results and prepare test deliverables, introducing suitable metrics for evaluating test progress and assessing product quality.Identify end goals for a product and monitor test results to ensure that goals and quality are achieved.Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or an equivalent degree.Minimum 5 years of professional experience in Release and Test management or equivalent areas.Superior experience with modern project management tools (e.g., Confluence/Jira) as well as MS Office products (PowerPoint, Excel, etc.).Knowledge and experience with agile working methodologies (i.e., Scrum, SAFe) is critical.Plan and provide daily/weekly updates on release activities.Diverse experience in the Software Testing Lifecycle adhering to globally accepted test methodologies, including User Acceptance Testing, System Testing, and System Integration Testing.Proven experience in both manual and automation testing across UI, service, and DB levels.Ability to manage a diverse and challenging stakeholder community.Ability to work under pressure and balance competing priorities.Strong team orientation (we are team players!).Enjoy collaboration with counterparts from different business and IT areas, MBM markets, and being an essential part of an international project team.Open-mindedness, creativity, and willingness to bring in new ideas.Willingness to travel abroad if needed.Knowledge of traditional agile methodologies, including Scrum, Waterfall, or Kanban.Working knowledge of the Software Development Lifecycle.
