Description: The IT Production Support department is looking for an IT Production Support Engineer L2/L3.
You will ensure the availability, stability, and support of all IT applications and environments. You will work in the Monaco office and, if allowed, you could work from home according to the internal policy (maximum 2 days a week).
You will manage secured file transfers using the standard UBS tools and processes (Bash, Scripting, scheduling, coordination with group and external clients or users).
Responsibilities: Ensure the highest level of application services availability (Unix/Linux servers, banking applications, middleware such as MQ, WAS, and Tomcat, Job Scheduler, PowerCenter). Secured file transfer support and management (creation, scripting, support, maintenance, updates, certificates usage) by supporting the online local application developed in PERL. Incident and change management according to local ITIL processes. Improve and automate IT production tasks (scripting, scheduling, alerting, and monitoring). Perform installations, configurations, maintenance, backups, upgrades, and monitoring of all applications (on Solaris & Linux servers) and all middleware applications. Perform installations and deployments of products (following the group standards) such as PowerCenter, WebSphere Application Server, Tomcat, Autosys. Write and maintain custom scripts to increase system efficiency and lower the human intervention time on any tasks. Ensure that systems are made available during BCM exercises (organization and controls). Write proper documentation and procedures for every important task (migration procedures, new installations, maintenance, upgrades, etc.). Participate in the design of information and operational support models, as well as any project impacting the IT production environments. Provide 2nd and 3rd level of support. Establish a climate of trust with external partners and users. Monitor and test application performance for potential bottlenecks, identify possible solutions, and work with developers to implement those fixes. Requirements: Fluent in French & English - prerequisite. BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. At least 10 years of experience in IT production support (under Solaris & Linux/Redhat OS). At least 10 years of experience on middleware applications (WAS, Tomcat, Autosys, MQ, PowerCenter, secured file transfer, etc.). ITIL knowledge for change/request/incident management. Experience in IT banking environment. Ability to analyze capacity to support IT environments. Good communication skills to discuss effectively with users and external support. Ability to follow team guidelines and goals. Availability required for interventions outside office hours, weekends, and public holidays. Work in shift hours starting at 7:30 a.m. for morning check management according to a schedule planned in advance. Technical Requirements: Proven working experience in installing, configuring, and troubleshooting banking and IT applications used in the bank in Solaris and Linux environments (scripting, KSH, bash, PERL) as well as Wintel. Proven working experience in configuring and managing secured file transfer activity (SFTP, SCP, SSL, CFT, SSH, SwiftNet). Solid scripting skills (Shell script). Experience with IT banking application support. Experience with scheduling tools (Autosys). Experience on middleware. Qui sommes nous ?
