The Role
Key Responsibilities :
- IT Support Oversight : Monitor and manage open IT support tickets daily, ensuring timely responses and resolutions.
- Performance Metrics : Oversee KPIs to measure and enhance team performance, ensuring all service levels are met.
- Enhance Communication : Develop strong communication channels and relationships with team members and end-users to facilitate effective remote collaboration.
- Escalation Point :
Serve as the escalation point for complex IT issues, providing expert guidance and support.
- Project Oversight : Manage and track the performance of all IT projects, ensuring deadlines and standards are met.
- System Maintenance : Conduct regular reviews of systems for updates and patches, ensuring the team adheres to security best practices.
- Drive Innovation : Innovate and suggest new solutions to improve IT operations and team training.
Ideal Profile
Qualifications :
- Proven experience in managing global IT teams, with a strong understanding of remote team dynamics.
- Expertise in Office 365, Azure, Intune, and network troubleshooting, including experience with SonicWall.
- Ability to multitask across various IT disciplines and projects effectively.
- Excellent communication skills in English to effectively liaise with stakeholders in the region, with the ability to build relationships and lead a team across different time zones.
- Demonstrated ability to operate at a high technical level while also focusing on strategic management without being drawn back into day-to-day technical tasks.
- Must meet the technical proficiency of a Level 3 Technician.
- A passion for technology, with a proactive approach to finding and implementing innovative IT solutions.
- A strong educational background in Information Technology or a related field.
