The Americas hub Digital & IT team is responsible for building and supporting the digitalization of Air Liquide businesses and operations, with a strong focus on value creation, total cost of ownership, user adoption and change management while ensuring reliable and safe operations.
Air Liquide's Business Service Center (BSC) comprises a dedicated unit (including people, processes and technologies) that is structured as a centralized point of service focused on defined business functions. Initially, the BSC will support the North America ('NAM') cluster and will take on support of the Latin America ('LATAM') cluster in a later phase.
The BSC Support Analyst provides high quality, secure technical and functional support on current and future applications that generate business value for Air Liquide internal and external customers. The analyst will be part of a team that is responsible for providing "24 x 7 x 365" application maintenance and management support for Air Liquide's operations in the Americas hub.
This position will perform incident management for in-scope applications, ensuring the incident is managed throughout its life cycle until the issue is closed. The BSC support team performance will be measured via ticket and performance based KPIs. Major applications in scope include: Oracle EBS and related environments R12.2.x (financials, commercial, procurement, Mfg, Oracle mobile apps), ASCP, SOA, GRC, iStore, EDI, OCC (Oracle Cloud Commerce), OATS, OBIEE & essbase, Vertex v7, Maximo v7, LIMS, ALTO interfaces, Servitrax interfaces, Configure Price Quote, Salesforce.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities Provides Level 1, 2 and 3 support for in-scope applications Supports maintenance, patching and release management processes Performs limited enhancement work, as needed Handles ad hoc data requests Performs system administration Oversees master data management Recommends and implements efficiency improvements Follows and enforces Air Liquide's change management processes Performs system analysis; reviews and corrects errors Provides technical assistance, problem resolution and troubleshooting support Works with various stakeholders to deploy software solutions Works closely with Solution Experts and DBAs to enhance application program performance Produces technical documentation as required Provides support for software solutions Upgrades and maintains software environments Are you a MATCH? Training or Certification Requirements Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, MIS, Business, or a related discipline, coupled with prior experience as a software developer. 5+ years experience working in IT support Experience with one or more of the applications in scope, like AP, AR, GL, FA, INV, CE, OM, MFG Language Requirements Spanish fluency required [C1/B2] English: Intermediate proficiency required [B1/B2] French language ability a plus General Requirements and Knowledge Strong organizational and project management skills. Proficiency in supporting solutions on Oracle EBS platform Functional knowledge of across multiple EBS modules Proficiency in using SQL, PL/SQL and Oracle Forms, Oracle Reports (a plus) Solid verbal communication skills.
