To master this challenge, we are looking for an energetic and committed intern within our Road Perception Team in Sindelfingen.
We are seeking a candidate who can support us on-site for a duration of six months.
During your internship, you will have the opportunity to work on exciting projects, contribute to state-of-the-art research, and be an integral part of our mission to revolutionize the future of transportation.
These challenges await you:
Prepare large-scale in-house perception datasets for training and evaluation purposesDevelop in-house data pipelines to enable rapid prototyping on recent research modelsJointly develop common evaluation tools with colleagues to streamline the assessment of machine learning algorithmsRe-train, fine-tune, and evaluate state-of-the-art models on in-house datasetsVisualize interesting samples for better understanding and presentation purposesPrepare and deliver presentations on research findings to other researchers and managementQualifications
Currently pursuing a master's degree in computer science, robotics, physics, mathematics, electrical engineering, or adjacent fieldsStrong programming skills in PythonExperience with Linux and development on Linux SystemsKnowledge of machine learning techniques, especially neural networks, and the corresponding software frameworks like PyTorch and TensorFlowFamiliarity with computer vision, image processing, and deep learning techniquesExcellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to work independentlyEffective communication and collaboration skillsFluency in spoken and written EnglishPreferred Qualifications
Basic knowledge in C++ programmingBasic ROS knowledgeFluent proficiency in spoken and written German (optional)Experience in working with databases like SQL, PostgreSQL is a plusExperience with SLAM algorithms is a plusAdditional Information:
