Job Description - International MRP Controller (MER00037OD) Description Our department "Shunyi Logistics" has an end-to-end responsibility for all logistics related functions within Shunyi production plant. We manage the daily operations, ensure parts availability and plan future vehicles. Together with our partners we enable the growing production volume, handle the increasing complexity and continuously improve efficiency. In this organization, we are searching for a highly motivated international MRP (Material Requirement Planning) controller.
Your future tasks as part of our team are:
Management of critical import parts to ensure parts supply and production.Monitor material flow coverage and communication with suppliers, production and other departments regarding abnormalities and needed tasks (e.g. locating substitute part, schedule airfreights, etc.) to continue to run production.Lead coordination meetings until abnormalities are resolved.Monitor part demands to suppliers for on-time material supply and coordinate actions to ensure sufficient parts availability while optimizing inventory.Monitor Supplier Delivery Performance results and coordinate problem solving and countermeasures to achieve on-time delivery.Analyze and recommend improvements in processes related to parts ordering, receiving, transportation, and delivery methods.Maintain part inventory float and safety stocks to ensure continuous supply.Ensure proper parts balance out and build out procedures are followed to minimize obsolescence.Organize disposition of obsolete parts at minimal cost.Support Continuous Improvement process from an End-to-End perspective and come up with own ideas.Initiate and drive digitalization to further increase supply chain resilience.Qualifications Active personality, hardworking, willingness to learn.Good at logical thinking, teamwork and time management in an international and multi-cultural environment.Rich experiences as MRP controller in complex organizations.Mindset of cost optimizations.Experience in project management in a manufacturing environment.Good communication skills as frequent alignment with other departments and Mercedes-Benz Germany are part of your daily business.Bachelor in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Logistics Engineering, Automobile Engineering or similar education.Skills in MS Office and presentations, especially in Word/Excel/PPT.
