Job Description - Intern Data Analyst Controlling (MER0003IBA) Description For our newly founded parts logistics operations entity (MBPLAP), we are setting up the finance & controlling processes and thereby strive for digital and automated processes.
Within the Controlling department, you will take responsibility in the following areas:
You will assist in the reporting of all financial key performance indicators of an entity including pricing, expenses, revenue, investment, and stock on hand for both planning and actuals processes and support the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports and presentations for Management reviews.You will perform variance analysis to explain deviations from targets in actuals vs. planning and provide transparency to selected stakeholders.You will help us to drive automation and data processing by assisting in the development of an automated planning and actuals tracking process for selected key performance indicators to provide actionable insights to stakeholders using data analytics and visualization tools as well as a reporting and integration platform.Qualifications Specific knowledge and skills Degree in Finance, Business Administration or ideally Business Informatics.Solid understanding of overall financial processes.Proactive, open-minded, curious, and collaborative working approach.Analytical skills with the ability to interpret data sets.Software and data analytics skills (Power BI, KNIME, MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint).
