We're looking for an Intermediate Fullstack Developer who can design, build, test, and ship high-quality software that delivers value to our customers.
WHAT YOU'LL NEED: A degree in Computer Science or Engineering, with 3-5 years of experience in developing and maintaining software, or an equivalent level of education or work experience, and a proven track record of substantial contributions to software projects with high business impact.Proficiency in Scala and experience with asynchronous programming concepts (e.g., Futures, promises).Expertise in RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.Ability to maintain existing patterns and best practices in delivering code and tests for stories and epics that impact the team.Capable of performing root cause analysis to identify and address bugs and outages, adhering to logging and debugging best practices across services and applications.Well-versed in basic security and compliance practices, maintaining agile processes and continuous integration/delivery practices to ship stories and manage medium-complexity epics/projects.Ideally, experience with front-end technologies like TypeScript, React.js, Redux, HTML, and CSS.Effective collaboration within and across teams, engaging in technical discussions and communicating non-technical concepts with design and product teams.Ability to deliver on roadmaps and communicate risks and opportunities at both individual and epic levels.A customer-focused mindset, demonstrating a proactive desire to meet both internal and external customer needs. Job Responsibilities: WHAT YOU'LL DO: Successfully deliver medium complexity epics within both service and front-end applications, ensuring alignment with the current architecture.Coordinate and conduct integration testing to ensure smooth interaction across components while adhering to coding and design standards, particularly those related to security, accessibility, and privacy.Triaging and resolving bugs and outages, maintaining observability by refining logging dashboards, with guidance from senior developers when needed.Take ownership of projects, collaborating closely with product and design teams to plan and execute effectively, proactively identifying and escalating risks, and managing scope changes.Contribute to technical discussions, incorporate feedback, and drive collaborative code reviews to optimize code quality.Experience with a variety of technologies, including React.js, TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML/CSS, Scala, PHP, MongoDB, Grafana, Sumo Logic, Prometheus, Kubernetes, Jenkins, Jira, and other tools.
