Job Description:
We are looking for a skilled Integrations Engineer with expertise in managing and developing integrations for Learning Management Systems (LMS) or similar platforms. This role focuses on building, optimizing, and maintaining integrations between our LMS platforms and various third-party systems using technologies like .NET, Python, PHP, and REST APIs. Experience with AWS Lambda and JavaScript is crucial to this role as you will be responsible for creating serverless, scalable solutions that seamlessly connect disparate systems.

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the design, development, and maintenance of integrations between the LMS and external systems using .NET, Python, and PHP.
- Build, enhance, and maintain REST APIs to facilitate smooth data exchange between the LMS and third-party applications.
- Manage serverless integrations and automation using AWS Lambda.
- Work closely with LMS vendors and third-party partners to troubleshoot, optimize, and improve integrations.
- Ensure data integrity, security, and compliance across all integrated systems.
- Perform platform administration and ensure proper configuration and customization of LMS environments.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand integration requirements and ensure smooth implementation.
- Create user-friendly, efficient front-end interfaces for integrations using JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
- Keep abreast of evolving LMS features, trends, and best practices to continually improve the platform's integration capabilities.
Required Skills:
- .NET: Proven experience in .NET development, particularly in building APIs and integrations.
- Python: Proficiency in scripting and automation with Python for integration tasks.
- PHP: Expertise in using PHP for server-side integration development.
- REST API: In-depth understanding of RESTful API design and implementation for data exchange between systems.
- AWS Lambda: Hands-on experience with AWS Lambda for creating and managing serverless integration solutions.
- JavaScript:
Strong ability to use JavaScript for building and maintaining integration front ends.
Desired Skills:
- Platform Administration: Experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS) or similar platforms, including configuration, integration, and customization.
- CSS Design: Ability to implement sleek, responsive designs using CSS.
- HTML: Proficient in HTML for creating and managing web-based integration interfaces.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Experience in integrating LMS platforms like Moodle, Blackboard, Canvas, or similar.
- Strong understanding of data security and compliance best practices within LMS environments.
- Experience with version control systems like Git.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
- Strong communication skills,
both written and verbal, with the ability to present financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
- Excellent interpersonal skills to work effectively with various departments and senior management.
