About the opportunity: The Integration Manager - Circular Economy is a pivotal national role in which you will be responsible for driving the successful planning, execution, and management of recycling in alignment with key strategic objectives on the growth and integration of recycling within our Aggregates business.
You will be responsible for the end to end integration of our operations and sustainability offerings - implementing new operational initiatives; driving standardisation and best practice and improving the operational performance of the recycling business as it grows.
It is primarily an hands-on, operationally focussed role involving coordinating with various stakeholders, including internal teams, clients, vendors, and regulatory bodies, to ensure efficient and effective recycling operations both internally and externally but you will also have important strategic inputs and responsibilities as your tenure in the role grows - assisting in developing strategies, implementing processes, and monitoring progress to optimise recycling initiatives and drive sustainability goals.
Key activities include:
Assisting the business in increasing our recycling offering and its operational effectiveness through practical 'hands on' support.Translating market leadership in recycling product development into a product offering that is scalable, cost effective and commercial.Mapping the end to end operational process of our recycling/ sustainability offering and developing and executing opportunities to improve process, reduce waste, maximise profitability and ensure a long term sustainable commercial offering.Supporting CAPEX plans / business cases to support strategic capital projects which enhance recycling capability and capacity.Developing national standards and processes for the integration of recycling products.Measuring and monitoring key performance indicators.Developing and leading product / operational training to sales team, customer service and production staff to ensure effective transfer of knowledge with standardised process.Additional responsibilities are found in the Position Description which is available upon request.
About You: Relevant experience in construction materials production and supply are preferred.An operational background in the construction industry and understanding of production processes and systems.Relevant experience in related industries in the building and construction materials sector will also be considered.Knowledge of building materials product use in the various forms of construction.Project management experience and competence in the use of Project Management tools.Demonstrated ability to work with multiple stakeholders across complex organisations.Demonstrated ability to effectively manage third party contractor / suppliers.Commercially savvy with a strong customer focus.A commitment to ensuring a safe work environment is maintained with a focus on ensuring compliance with all relevant legislation.Excellent communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills with the ability to maintain effective relationships with all internal and external stakeholders.Strong negotiating and influencing skills.Please Note:
