POSITION OVERVIEW
The Inspections Manager will be responsible for a variety of tasks to support the Residential and Commercial Project Managers per Region. This role is split between office and field work, and coordinates solar project tasks. The person in this role must be a strong communicator, display efficiency and organization, have the ability to work collaboratively with a number of stakeholders, and work to improve project deployment processes.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES Coordinate Inspections with Authorities Having Jurisdiction (Pre-Final and Final, Trench Inspections, HOA, Historic and Escarpment Inspections)Assist in Site Visits with customers, Project Managers, SubcontractorsSupport communication and interaction with Customers regarding job and inspection status as directed by Project ManagerTravel to inspection sites in Santa Fe and AlbuquerqueDeliver and pick up ladders after inspections, deliver permits to sites as neededOrder portable toilets for install sites in Santa Fe and AlbuquerqueAssist with HOA signage and errands as neededManage PTO and Disco/Reco functionsProvide weekly reports of inspection reports, corrections, and button-upsDocument and track inspection statuses using NetSuite and Google Suite toolsFPY LoggingOther relevant tasks assigned by Project Managers as needed (deliveries, minor corrections during or after install, etc)Improve deployment process to increase quality and efficiency with collaboration of all stakeholdersRegular updating of Inspections SOPs in PES Google SiteCollaborate directly with Project Management, Install, and Design Teams as neededImprove efficiencies and workflow using established methods along with development of improved processes QUALIFICATIONS 2+ Years of experience in permitting, inspections, compliance, or related field2+ Years of administrative process management preferredExperience in Construction, Permitting, Field Installation, and Inspections a plusExcellent computer skills and fluent navigation of multiple software applications such as Google Suite, Microsoft 365, NetSuiteAbility to positively contribute to a supportive company cultureDetail-oriented and highly organizedSelf-motivated, displays a strong level of leadership and work ethicAbility to communicate proactively and provide positive customer experiencesStrong multi-tasking and prioritization skillsAbility to remain agile in fast-paced, high performance environmentsAbility to work effectively as part of a cross-functional teamMust possess (or can obtain) an understanding of solar PV systemsPersonal vehicle to be used for work, valid Driver's License and Auto InsuranceAbility to sit or stand at a desk for up to 8 hours per day, ability to carry ladders, climb ladders, walk on roofs, walk on uneven surfacesProfessional references are required BENEFITS Paid Time OffHealth Insurance w/ Gym MembershipsDental InsuranceVision InsurancePaid Sick LeaveFSA/HSA Options401(k) PlanSolar DiscountsEmployee Ownership OpportunityProfit Sharing DISCLOSURE: Positive Energy Solar is committed to being an equal opportunity employer.
