We are seeking a knowledgeable and dedicated part-time HSSE Specialist to support our organization's health, safety, security, and environmental initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HSSE principles and practices, excellent communication skills, and the ability to implement and maintain effective HSSE programs on a part-time basis.
Location: Parque Austral, Pilar, Buenos Aires, Argentina.
Work schedule: Monday to Friday, 9:00 am to 6:00 pm.
Work model: On site.
Contract Type: Indefinite-term.
Responsibilities: Develop, implement, and maintain HSSE policies, procedures, and programs in compliance with local and international standards and regulations.Conduct regular safety inspections and audits to identify potential hazards and areas for improvement.Investigate incidents, accidents, and near-misses, providing detailed reports and recommendations for preventive measures.Deliver HSSE training sessions to employees, ensuring they are aware of safety protocols and best practices.Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of HSSE programs, suggesting improvements where necessary.Assist in the development and implementation of emergency response plans and procedures.Coordinate with various departments to ensure HSSE considerations are integrated into all aspects of operations.Maintain accurate HSSE records and documentation, including incident reports, training logs, and compliance certificates.Conduct risk assessments for new projects, processes, or equipment.Stay informed about changes in HSSE regulations and standards, updating company policies and procedures accordingly.Promote a culture of safety and environmental responsibility throughout the organization.Assist in managing relationships with external HSSE consultants and regulatory bodies.Participate in HSSE committee meetings and contribute to the development of HSSE strategies.Support the implementation of sustainability initiatives and environmental management programs.Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field.Relevant HSSE certifications (e.g., NEBOSH, OSHA) are highly desirable.3-5 years of experience in HSSE roles, preferably in a similar industry.Strong knowledge of HSSE regulations, standards, and best practices.Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively convey HSSE concepts to all levels of the organization.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with HSSE management software.Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a part-time role.Experience in conducting training sessions and developing educational materials.Keen attention to detail and strong organizational skills.Flexibility to occasionally respond to emergencies or urgent HSSE matters outside of regular part-time hours.Location: On-site – Buenos Aires, ARG
