This role is integral to ensuring the smooth and effective management of the full scope of HR and recruitment for our LATAM operations, primarily in Mexico, Colombia, and Argentina. The HR Specialist will work closely with department heads to foster a positive work environment, ensure legal compliance, and attract, develop, and retain top talent.
Main Responsabilities Manage the full recruitment cycle, including job postings, sourcing, screening, interviewing, and job offer. Conduct effective onboarding of all new hires in line with established processes. Ensure meaningful probation assessment and review processes and provide support to people managers on performance issues Conduct offboarding and termination procedures; cooperate with legal advisors as needed to address and resolve any legal issues related to employment and contracts Process payroll data regularly, ensure prolongation of necessary HR contracts, and keep HR documentation in order Maintain legalization procedures for employees both on the project's end and with the assistance of external advisors Support immigration/work permit processes in each location, in conjunction with external legal advisors Make fact and market-based recommendations to the project head and stream leaders for changes, both during and outside of annual review processes Set up and manage the HRM system of the project and ensure consistency of data, continuous functioning, and process transparency for the employees Oversee employee relations, providing support and guidance to managers and employees on HR issues to ensure continuous business development and a good level of employee satisfaction Address employee concerns, grievances, and disciplinary issues fairly and consistently. At least 5 years of experience in Human Resources and Recruitment, (preferably with 2 years in a managerial role) Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion. Knowledge of labor laws and HR best practices and regional specifics Consistent approach in managing HR business direction and system-thinking Strong detail-oriented and resourceful mindset Excellent interpersonal, communication skills, and problem-solving skills Proven experience with HRM systems such as PeopleForce, Workday, ADP, BambooHR, or similar platforms. This includes managing employee data, payroll processing, benefits administration, and performance management within these systems English: Upper-Intermediate and higher Spanish: Fluent or native Corporate events and team building activities Professional and personal development opportunities in a fast-growing environment
