With a strong presence in LATAM, we are expanding our operations and seeking a skilled Payroll SME/Specialist to join our team and oversee payroll operations specifically for our LATAM workforce. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to our growth and ensure accurate and compliant payroll processing for our employees in LATAM. As a Payroll SME/Specialist, you will play a vital role in managing and optimizing our LATAM payroll operations and implementation project. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure the accurate and timely processing of payroll, contributing in the current implementation project and migration with Align, adherence to local labor laws and regulations, and seamless coordination with internal stakeholders and to act as a key point of consulting and expertise for the whole team. This position requires in-depth knowledge of LATAM payroll processes, strong analytical capabilities, and excellent communication skills.
Required Qualifications And Competencies Manage end-to-end payroll operations for our LATAM employees, including data entry, calculations, and payroll processing in compliance with local laws and regulations.Ensure accuracy and timeliness of payroll processing, including wage calculations, bonuses, commissions, and deductions, while adhering to company policies and procedures.Proven ability to assist with the successful go live of payroll systems, including standardizing processes, documenting procedures, and serving as the primary point of contact (POC) for payroll within the country.Demonstrated and extensive expertise in payroll management, showcasing a solid background and comprehensive knowledge in the field.Provide local payroll input to configure MyHR based on local requirements.Stay updated on changes in LATAM labor laws, tax regulations, social security contributions, and other payroll-related legislation to ensure compliance and implement necessary updates in payroll processes.Collaborate with HR, Finance, and the BSC departments to ensure accurate employee data, smooth integration of systems, and effective resolution of payroll-related issues.Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll, tax withholdings, and deductions, providing exceptional customer service and resolving concerns promptly.Conduct regular audits and quality checks to ensure data integrity, promptly identifying and rectifying discrepancies or errors.Generate payroll reports, including tax reports, benefits reports, and other relevant analytics, to support management decision-making and regulatory compliance.Participate in implementing payroll system enhancements and process improvements to increase efficiency and accuracy in payroll operations.Maintain strict confidentiality and security of payroll data, ensuring compliance with data protection regulations and internal policies.Act as a key point of consulting and expertise for the whole team.Proactively identify, address, and lead resolutions on pain points and continuous improvement opportunities.Are you a MATCH?Language Requirements Intermediate/advanced English language proficiency is required.Our Differences make our Performance At Air Liquide, we are committed to building a diverse and inclusive workplace that embraces the diversity of our employees, our customers, patients, community stakeholders, and cultures across the world.
