Implement people strategy through the development of the Human Resources (HR) function, processes, systems, and measures in the defined area. Ensure the organization has the people capabilities to deliver present and future business goals. Serve as a member of the specific Region management team. This position reports to the Local Marketing & Sales Manager.
Responsibilities:Supports the Region President in customer and market driven strategies to ensure profitable growth in the Region.Leverages Group and global programs where applicable and develops area-specific initiatives where appropriate.Leads delivery of Global compensation and benefit programs, workforce planning and productivity improvement programs, performance management, and other processes as applicable for the Region.Oversees process maturity assessments for the local HR units and ensures process improvement actions are implemented.Oversees activities regarding industrial relations and organized labor within the Region to ensure strong labor relationships with unions and works councils across the organization.Implements and delivers Global talent and learning programs to attract, retain and develop leaders and professionals for the organization.Develops talent and future functional leaders and appoints function heads in line with corporate regulations.Represents ABB in interactions internally and externally in order to communicate and reinforce the Group business and people strategy in the Region.Your Background:5 years of experience in union management and salary negotiations.Bachelor´s Degree in Administration or related field.Experience in talent development, training, and compensation processes.Knowledge in Labor agreements and Labor Legislation.Advanced English level.Availability to travel.More about us
