Position Overview: The WWTP Project Manager will be overseeing new construction and retrofit projects in Central and Southern California. The chosen PM will be joining the project in the design phase, and will remain on the project through project completion. This position will make technical recommendations to proposal and project teams to provide value engineered approaches for water treatment system process and subcomponent applications.
Key Responsibilities: Manage the construction process of water and wastewater treatment systems ensuring adherence to environmental regulations.Be the primary point of contact and provide oversight and guidance to contractors and subcontractors as needed.Develop a schedule for the water treatment system mobilization, construction, commissioning, operation, and demobilization using Microsoft Project or Primavera.Monitor job progress and project budget to ensure timely and cost-effective completion.Conduct regular site visits to evaluate the safety and progress of the project.Coordinate and communicate with project stakeholders and provide guidance throughout the duration of the project.Train operators how to run and maintain the system.Assist with RFPs as needed. Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.PE License (Mechanical or Civil) PREFERRED 5+ years of relevant heavy civil PM experience Working knowledge of Excel, AutoCAD, Primavera, and MS Project OSHA 30 Ability to read and interpret engineering and environmental plans.Ability to read water quality analytics and produce block flow diagram for the type of system needed. Excellent organizational, problem-solving and communication skills.Willingness to travel regionally as needed. Salary 130-160k (based on experience)
