Position Overview We are seeking an experienced Head of Trading with a strong background in DeFi to join our dynamic team.
The ideal candidate will develop and implement sophisticated trading strategies to optimize returns while managing risk.
Responsibilities Design, develop, and implement quantitative trading strategies for DeFi markets Analyze market trends, liquidity, and volatility across multiple DeFi protocols Optimize yield farming strategies and liquidity provision across decentralized exchanges Conduct research on new DeFi protocols and assess their potential for integration into our strategies Collaborate with the development team to implement and automate trading algorithms Monitor and manage risk exposure across various DeFi positions Provide regular performance reports and insights to the management team Requirements Advanced degree in Mathematics, Physics, Computer Science, or a related quantitative field 4+ years of experience in quantitative trading, preferably with exposure to cryptocurrency markets Strong programming skills, preferably in Python, R, or Solidity In-depth understanding of financial markets, trading strategies, and risk management Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills Strong communication skills and ability to work in a fast-paced team environment Preferred Qualifications Experience with on-chain data analysis and blockchain analytics tools Knowledge of advanced DeFi concepts such as flash loans, MEV, and cross-chain bridges Familiarity with decentralized options and derivatives protocols Experience with machine learning and its applications in trading Compensation Package Base plus significant profit sharing that could take total compensation to $500K or more.
