Your Mission as a Petrophysicist
As a Petrophysicist, you will play a key role in ensuring safe, efficient,
and reliable delivery of the company products and services. You will be tasked with providing expert consultation across various operational groups, driving continuous improvements, and identifying new opportunities for enhanced product and service offerings. Your work will include risk management and applying lessons learned to optimize future projects, while offering real-time support to ongoing operations.
You Will Be Handling These Duties and Responsibilities as Petrophysicist
- Provide specialized technical support throughout the sales, product, and service delivery process.
- Assist in the creation of advanced technical job designs for projects.
- Identify new, cost-effective techniques to enhance service delivery.
- Explore opportunities for the introduction of value-added products and services.
- Consult with Design and Technical Engineers to refine and optimize technical designs.
- Assist in real-time incident response, recovery, and post-incident investigation in your area of expertise.
- Evaluate the technical feasibility and overall suitability of tenders.
- Stay up to date with the latest technologies and industry developments.
- Maintain strong relationships with customers through participation in professional societies and calls for papers.
- Monitor competitor technical offerings and advancements.
- Contribute to and review technical publications.
- Collaborate with local universities, customer institutes, and research organizations.
Qualifications and Skills That Will Allow You to Thrive as Petrophysicist
- Bachelor's degree in Petrophysics, Geoscience, or a related field.
- Extensive experience as a Petrophysicist.
- Strong knowledge and experience in petrophysical data interpretation and analysis.
- Proven expertise in developing technical designs and supporting product/service delivery.
- Ability to identify new techniques and apply innovative solutions.
- Strong communication skills for collaborating with cross-functional teams and presenting findings.
- Experience in real-time incident response and risk management.
- Active participation in professional societies and technical communities.
- Up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and competitive offerings.
Additional Information
- Working Days Hours: Sunday to Thursday (9 a.m. to 5 p.m.).
- Location: Between Benghazi and Tripoli.
