About the area :
As Site Reliability Engineering , you will help build and maintain our cloud infrastructure, planning, developing, and consolidating partnerships with engineering teams, ensuring that services are increasingly scalable, secure, and resilient.
Your activities include provisioning cloud infrastructure, automating workflows, evolving CI / CD pipelines, observability tools, identifying and correcting performance problems, and developing tools to improve the work and experience of engineers.
Some real use cases that we did in the past :
- Creation of Kubernetes operators in Golang, to automate infrastructure management;
- Architected a solution for all of our microservices and users to connect to databases using temporary credentials;
- Updated our continuous delivery platform to use GitOps, without interrupting developer workflows (we perform more than 300 deployments in production daily);
- Create data pipelines to analyze incident metrics;
- Offer workshops on deploying and monitoring applications on Kubernetes;
- Segmentation of AWS accounts;
- Work together with developers to solve complex problems in our production environment;
- Work closely with developers to create SLOs for latency and error rates for our APIs;
- Build tools to guarantee the security of our systems without burdening the operation;
- Created our own CLI, known as QLI, to manage our resources;
You will :
- Provision and maintaining the Cloud infrastructure;
- Identify and correct performance problems;
- Maintain Kubernetes clusters;
- Develop tools to improve the work and experience of engineers across the QuintoAndar Group.
Requirements
What we are looking for :
- Experience with container orchestration (Kubernetes, ECS);
- CI / CD knowledge;
- Knowledge of programming (we like Python and Golang);
- Experience in infrastructure as code (Terraform, Crossplane and / or Pulumi);
You will stand out if :
- Experience with observability stack (Prometheus, Grafana, OpenTelemetry)
- Experience in developing microservices;
- Additional experience with gateway-apis, CDN, kafka, GitOps, etc.
