Position Summary: Stanley Black & Decker is seeking a multi-talented Group Creative Manager to join our fast-growing in-house Brand Creative Studio team. The candidate should have a track record of leading a cross-functional team in creating engaging content, have a keen eye for design, a strong sense of visual storytelling, and marketing acumen. This individual should have a firm understanding of the creative process from creative thinking through to production for all projects.
Job Specifications: The primary focus of this position is to lead a cross-functional team of creatives to support a brand(s) from concept through to production – following brand style guides along the way. Project types include video, photography, in-store point of sale materials, packaging, ecomm assets and digital design. The right candidate will be a self-starter who is able to take the initiative and manage their team's projects – working with other global Studio team members and Brand Strategists to achieve the best possible results.
Responsibilities: Translate business goals and initiatives into compelling, innovative, and clear communication. Collaborate with cross-functional partners to strategize and execute integrated campaigns. Provide impactful creative direction and project oversight of omni-channel campaigns for multiple brands, including photo and video projects from pre-production through post-production. Clearly convey creative direction and brand messaging to internal creative teams, as well as external vendors. Manage creation of content wireframes and creative wireframes to support campaigns. Analyze and execute strategic solutions to hit a creative brief. Big Ideas generation. Contribute to overall development, training, and process improvement for Studio. Requirements: Bachelor's degree (or equal experience) in Communications, Advertising or another related field. 7-10+ years professional experience with an in-house marketing team or advertising agency. Ability to sell big ideas and drive executions through production. Ability to collaborate with a fast-paced team— organizing, prioritizing, and managing multiple projects simultaneously. Strong conceptual and creative thinker. Proficient in managing production budgets. Exceptional design skills that can visually bring to life conceptual ideas. Strong understanding of content strategy and consumer journey mapping. Strong understanding of the production process. Experience art directing photo/video production and post-production. Exceptional personal time management and the ability to project manage others as well. Communicate effectively with internal associates to manage expectations and negotiate when needed. Ability to manage, mentor, and provide career development and skills growth for direct reports. Experience working with large-scale brands. Portfolio with relevant work experience and examples required.
