About the Position You will be based at our Norwest Private Hospital practice which is open 24/7 and offers a wide range of imaging services including BMD, Cardiac, CT including low dose, Mammography, MRI, Nuclear Medicine, and X-Ray. You will also work from our Private Practice based in The Bond building. As the only imaging services provider onsite at the hospital and being based in a private practice, you will be exposed to a wide variety of patients and specialisations, including from a growing Emergency Department, and supporting theatre work.
You will be responsible for producing high quality images to enable the composition of reports to assist in the medical assessment of a patient. You will provide an excellent service to our patients in accordance with our values. You will receive mentoring from our senior Radiographers to assist in the development of your technical and patient care skills. You will be encouraged and rewarded for identifying opportunities to improve the operation of the business.
About You You will be graduating or have graduated in Applied Science (Medical Radiation Science) to be considered for this opportunity in 2024. You will be caring in your approach and be seeking an opportunity where you will be supported in your development but with the expectation that you will contribute to the team. You must have well-developed communication skills and understand that communicating effectively with patients and all our team will be critical to your success. Prior to commencement of employment, you must have:
