Purpose and Role Summary : The SAP Business Area Controlling (BAC) Sales division is a driving force behind the standardization and harmonization of Controlling processes and tools within SAP's Controlling community.
We currently have an opening for a position within our Business Area Controlling Global Customer Success team.
The role involves delivering controlling services and championing a role as a reliable financial partner to Specialized Controlling team, with focus Partner Ecosystem Success.
The incumbent shall utilize their expertise in fostering financial transparency across various organizational dimensions, assuring compliance and endorsing financial sustainability.
The perfect candidate for this role is eager to learn, demonstrates a commitment to operational excellence, has acute attention to detail, and builds effective relationships across the organization.
Proficiency in spreadsheet modeling, particularly Microsoft Excel (including Analytics for Office) and PowerPoint, is vital for success in this role.
Responsibilities Include : · Guiding financial activities such as forecasting, budgeting, reporting, analysis, and financial closing to facilitate optimal financial performance.
· Preparing and presenting the financial narrative to Specialized Controllers supporting the Partner Ecosystem business objectives.
· Guaranteeing financial transparency to strengthen business unit decisions.
· Facilitating month-end and quarter-end closing activities including the latest estimate forecast, accruals.
· Executing business analysis to provide actionable insight to our business partners.
· Supporting the development of business models and cases.
· Supporting Business managers (L2 & L3) and teams in Partner Ecosystem & Fioneer.
· Headcount planning and maintenance of teams' structures (M-Nodes, Profit Centers, employee movement between cost centers) to keep them updated and aligned with the financial targets.
· Cost pools supporting documentation maintenance for Partner Ecosystem teams and topics related.
· Supporting as Controller for Winners Circle event, among other topics, forecast, accrual creation and follow up, reposting of all the expenses related with the event, actual costs follow up, T&E and gross up reposting, charge back (ICOs).
· Supporting WC Events teams, MU controllers and Tax local teams in doubts that the bookings related with the event will generate and facilitating detail info when needed.
· Enhancing team dynamics and collaboration, embodying the spirit of One Team · Safeguarding transparency and compliance with financial guidelines · Enthusiastically adopting agile working methods and nurturing an agile mindset.
· Winners Circle Expense Process Management and Planning.
Required Qualifications, Skills and Key Competencies : · Bachelor's degree or equivalent, preferably with a focus on finance and controlling.
· Exceptional analytical and impressive problem-solving skills.
· Excellent at working in a virtual team environment and independently with considerable self-initiative.
· In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
· Experience with SAP products (e.g., SAP CO/FI, Business Warehouse) is preferred.
· Capability to prioritize tasks effectively · Good understanding of IT business models.
· Excellent time management and ability to perform under stress and time pressure.
· Fluent in spoken and written English.
