We are now looking for a Global Market Research Lead to join our team in Stockholm.
About the role At Storytel, we believe that actionable insights can drive impactful strategies that align with our global vision while also addressing the unique needs of our local markets.
As the Global Market Research Lead, you will be responsible for developing a structured research infrastructure that integrates ongoing tracking and ad hoc research across various initiatives.
You will report to the Head of Media & Strategic Planning.
This role will be pivotal in ensuring that data is transformed into data-driven, strategically aligned decisions that support Storytel's marketing and communication goals globally and locally You will lead efforts to translate research findings into practical strategies that drive marketing initiatives, inform communication messages, define target audiences, and measure the impact of creative and media activities on brand positioning.
The ability to adapt global insights for local market relevance will be key to your success.
Key responsibilities Develop a cohesive market research infrastructure.
Lead research initiatives and share knowledge with the organization.
Turn insights into actionable marketing strategies.
Influence and facilitate forums to ensure that research observations directly inform business strategies across multiple departments, including global and local marketing teams, business & analytics team, and sales.
About you To be successful in this role we believe that you have: Solid experience in market research with a focus on building and managing integrated research systems.
Proficiency in turning research into data-driven insights for marketing and business strategies, particularly regarding target audience segmentation, communication messages, and creative/media impact.
Solid experience in guiding research that informs deep consumer insights and how they translate into both brand health and broader business strategy, including awareness tracking, communication effectiveness, and market growth.
Proven experience in a cross-functional work setting, knowing how to influence global and local stakeholders across marketing and business functions.
You are capable of working with diverse teams and ensuring insights are adopted across the organization.
Exceptional analytical skills and proficiency in advanced research tools and methodologies, such as SPSS, R, and similar.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to collaborate with a diverse set of stakeholders.
