JOB PURPOSE The Global Director of Media Relations and Publicity is a strategic and high-impact role responsible for leading the global media and public relations strategy for Unicoin and Unicorn Hunters.
This person will be the driving force behind building and maintaining a strong and positive brand reputation for both the Unicoin cryptocurrency and the Unicorn Hunters investment platform across all relevant media channels and platforms.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES Develop and execute a comprehensive global media relations and publicity strategy to elevate the profiles of Unicoin and Unicorn Hunters, positioning them as industry leaders and innovators.
Serve as the primary media spokesperson, building and maintaining strong relationships with key journalists, influencers, and media outlets across print, digital, broadcast, and social media.
Proactively pitch and secure high-profile media placements, interviews, and feature stories in leading global media outlets to drive brand awareness and thought leadership.
Collaborate with marketing, content, and social media teams to ensure consistent messaging and a cohesive brand narrative across all communication channels.
Manage and oversee the work of external public relations agencies and consultants to ensure alignment with the overall media relations and publicity strategy.
Monitor media coverage, analyze trends, and provide regular reports and recommendations to the executive team on media performance and reputation management.
Anticipate and prepare for potential crisis situations by developing proactive communication plans to mitigate reputational risks.
Represent Unicoin and Unicorn Hunters at industry events, conferences, and other high-profile public engagements, acting as a brand ambassador.
Stay updated on emerging media trends, best practices, and industry regulations to continuously optimize the media relations and publicity strategy.
Provide strategic counsel and guidance to the executive team on all media, public relations, and brand reputation matters .
JOB QUALIFICATIONS Minimum of 10 years of experience in global media relations, public relations, or corporate communications, preferably in the technology, fintech, or cryptocurrency industries.
Proven track record of securing high-impact media placements and building strong relationships with top-tier journalists and influencers worldwide.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage and influence diverse stakeholders.
Deep understanding of the global media landscape, including emerging trends, platforms, and best practices in media relations and publicity.
Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to anticipate and mitigate reputational risks.
Proficient in media monitoring, data analysis, and reporting to measure the success of media relations and publicity initiatives.
Adaptable and comfortable working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with the ability to prioritize and multitask effectively.
Bachelor's degree in communications, journalism, public relations, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
Fluency in multiple languages is a significant advantage.
