Sodexo is currently seeking a Resource General Manager 4- Food to join our Government Services team at Marine Corps Base Camp Pendleton in Oceanside, California. The General Manager will report directly to the District Manager and will be responsible for day-to-day oversight of all operations for this medium volume Mess Hall. This Resource General Manager position is temporary in nature but is eligible to apply to permanent positions at any time.
The successful candidate will: Have 3-5 years operational management experience in a high-volume food service dining environment.Be a people person with a strong focus on maintaining positive client relations; a solid manager/leader who is perceptive and has attention to details that make a difference – quality and presentation of food – customer service.Be SERVICE focused– including providing excellent customer service in a welcoming dining environment.Experience in Campus Dining Services.Be proficient in use of online Food Management Systems for menu/recipe planning, ordering and inventory.Demonstrate proven financial acumen/success: Food costs/ labor costs, budgets.Is this opportunity right for you? Qualifications & Requirements Basic Education Requirement - Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.
Basic Management Experience - 5 years.
Basic Functional Experience - 5 years.
