About the roleWe're looking for a senior experience designer with experience crafting world class native apps. They will be fluent in gestures, thoughtful in transitions and able to define beautiful, intuitive experiences. They will know how to leverage native capabilities to create fluid flows, they don't just think in wires, they prototype, always bringing life to their thinking.
Experience of e-commerce is a must, especially if within the luxury sector. We're looking for a sensitivity to interaction, an appreciation of motion and a methodical systematic approach.
Attention to detail is key, the designer will sweat the smallest components and be meticulous in how they construct and maintain their files. They will be comfortable with ambiguity and take a 'show don't tell' approach to outlining their thinking.
On any given day you mightWork closely with project leads to identify areas of alignment and opportunities for native enhancementsDesign and prototype page and feature designs building on the core client design system in line with requirements and in collaboration with an SVDPresent interaction concepts and designs to internal and client stakeholders including development team for feedback, iterating designs as neededWork closely with Front-end engineers to ensure seamless implementation of design requirements, providing necessary design assets, annotations and ensuring the design vision is maintained in the final productDocument detailed annotations of states, edge cases and interaction behaviorsWork alongside a visual designer within a 2-week agile sprint methodology.The ideal personIs able to build from and maintain a figma design system and component libraryHas fluent understanding of e-commerce, advantage if luxury brand experienceHas an incredible eye for detail and strong sensitivity to luxury experienceHas deep knowledge of motion and interaction with ability to create quick prototypes to demonstrate conceptsIs able to annotate and spec design for developmentYou Bring+ 4 years of experience as an experience designer with proven experience in e-commerce (luxury sector is a plus)A folio of world class app designs with proven ability of translating concept to production designs through to launchProficiency in English (written and spoken)DiversityNo matter who you are, where you're from, who you love, follow in faith, disability (or superpower), status, ethnicity or the gender you identify with (please do tell us your pronouns), you're welcome at R/GA.
