Main Purpose:
Join our ambitious team as a Fixed Assets Analyst. You will have the chance to lead and optimize our company's investments and capital expenditures, ensuring the flawless maintenance and safeguarding of fixed assets in Argentina.
Key Responsibilities: Coordinate with Accounting: Collaborate closely with the Accounting team to structure and accurately describe fixed assets.Record Transactions: Accurately record acquisitions, modifications, and disposals of fixed assets, ensuring all transactions are detailed flawlessly.Physical Verification: Collaborate with local teams to conduct detailed physical verifications and inventories of assets, ensuring adherence to company policies.Policy Compliance: Identify and address any non-compliance issues related to Trafigura's fixed asset policy, striving for outstanding accuracy.Internal Control: Respond promptly to Internal Control inquiries and audits, providing detailed reports and documentation as needed.Internal Reporting: Produce comprehensive internal reports on fixed assets to inform and guide decision-making processes.Fiscal Management: Oversee fiscal valuation, depreciation, and adjustments for hyperinflation, ensuring the company's books reflect the true state of our assets.ERP Reconciliation: Reconcile data between Navision and Oracle modules, maintaining a high standard of data integrity.Impairment Testing: Conduct rigorous impairment testing to assess the condition and value of assets.Verification Processes: Define and implement verification processes to maintain strict control over asset management.Documentation: Maintain meticulous records of all verification documents for future reference and audits.Asset Catalog: Develop and maintain a detailed fixed asset catalog.Auditor Liaison: Serve as a key liaison with Accounting to effectively respond to external auditors' inquiries and ensure compliance.Knowledge and Abilities: Educational Background: Must be a graduate with a degree in Public Accounting.Experience: 2-3 years of proven experience in similar roles, particularly in managing fixed assets.Language Skills: Proficient in English, with outstanding communication abilities.Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel. Knowledge of ORACLE, SAP, and other ERPs is highly desirable but not essential.Personal Attributes: Confident, organized, and creative with a resourceful and autonomous working style.Interpersonal Skills: Possess strong networking, teamworking, and interpersonal skills.Travel Availability: Willingness to travel within Argentina as required.We are an Equal Opportunity Employer and take pride in a diverse workforce.
