How will you CONTRIBUTE and GROW? The Fixed Asset Purchasing Administrator will assist with the management of the SAP Investment Management/Project Systems (IM/PS) functionality for the Division. The role will involve working with Division Company finance and operations personnel to assist with the management of capital projects within SAP (from creation stage to active stage). The Fixed Asset Purchasing Administrator will also assist with providing monthly and quarterly reporting of capital project spend comparing actual-to-budget as well as other information. This role will work closely with other members of the Division Accounting department, Division FP&A, and Project Managers.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: Work on the creation of capital projects in SAP, which will require: an understanding of the budget allocation process within the SAP IM Module and active communication with Division Project Team members in order to ensure the Team's desired WBS structure for each capital project.
Manage the delegated Fixed Asset email inbox so that Project Team requests are handled in a timely manner.
Support reporting to the Management Team, Project Managers, and Corporate related to capital project budgets, actual spend and committed amounts.
Month-end procedures and reporting requirements related to fixed assets and capitalized costs.
Ensure timely capitalization of completed projects.
Assist with information requests from external and internal auditors.
Ensure compliance with the Company's financial policies/procedures.
Maintain internal accounting controls that are consistent with Company requirements.
Special projects and other duties as assigned.

Required Education: Bachelor degree, preferably in Accounting or Finance.
Required Length & Type of Experience: To be successful, the Fixed Asset Purchasing Administrator should have an understanding of general accounting matters and GAAP.
2+ years experience.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: Proficient in Microsoft Excel as well as a demonstrated ability to utilize Google applications.
SAP experience preferred.
Exhibits customer-focused behavior such as building positive relationships and strives to understand customer's needs, both internal and external.
Ability to deal with difficult situations in a diplomatic and professional manner.
Excellent analytical and creative problem-solving skills with the ability to make independent decisions based on investigation and judgment as well as ability to discern when to escalate issues.
