The Fitness Manager (FM) is responsible for exceeding club goals, including personal training, small group personal training, supplements and personal sales. They own new member on-boarding and deliver a dynamic, quality fitness experience to all members. The FM is also responsible for total team execution of all company quality assurance standards, hires, trains, and develops a strong team of Personal Trainers, and maintains a leadership role as the fitness expert for the club team and members.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities Personal SalesStaffing and DevelopmentConduct weekly (or as-needed) meetings with direct reports to review performance and offer direction, motivation, guidance and accountability to exceeding goals and objectives.Manage the fitness schedule.Ensure all members have access to a service-oriented, well-trained, expert fitness team that can provide fitness guidance, training and programs.Ensure that all Personal Trainers are delivering high-quality programs to their clients.Ensure accurate administration of Personal Training including client profiles, progress tracking, and workout programs.Complete personal training sessions and/or small group training as necessary.Requirements Certifications / Education Level High School Diploma or GED requiredBachelor's Degree preferredCurrent Certified Personal Trainer certification (preferred)Current CPR and AEDExperience 1-2 years as a personal trainer (preferred).Prior management experience in the fitness industry leading 5-10+ employees (preferred).Successful personal sales experience (required)
